Our start to 2014 began with our 19th Progressive Energy, Environment & Sustainability Summit at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Chicago, IL May 28th – 30th.Hotel Wrapping Up the Progressive Energy, Environment & Sustainability Summit #19

One of our best Summits to date, PEE19 saw 189 delegates interact with 25 Partner companies who offered solutions spanning a range of energy efficient and cost saving technologies and services. 275 pre-scheduled meetings were organized between delegates who selected to meet with specific Partners whose solutions sparked interest and/or lined up with certain projects and initiatives currently ongoing.

FMA received praise from various Delegates who enjoyed the information they received via the presentations and conversations with our Partners.

A Senior Facilities Manager for Echo Incorporated commented: “I gained a tremendous amount of information from the presentations. Attending this Summit has really helped me focus my energy management strategies to areas that generate the most value for my business.”

“This was my first time attending an FMA Summit and I was impressed by the structure of the conference, the quality of presentations and the opportunities to network with the vendors and other participants. This was a very worthwhile two and a half days for me and our college,” added the Dean for Environmental & Institutional Sustainability from Kanhakee Community College.

Our Solution Providers included returning Partners US LED who to date have attended 14 Progressive Energy, Environment and Sustainability Summits; Kaeser Compressors, Advanced Power Technologies, Armstrong Fluid Technology and AERCO International – all of whom have attended more than 4 Summits each.

First time Partners included LG Electronics, GE Lighting, Jones Lang LaSalle, as well as, EDF Renewable Energy and DTE Energy; both of whom added a Renewable Technology track to the Summit.

Kevin Scannell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Solutions Dynamic- who have attended 10 of our events thus far said the Summit was “…an excellent opportunity to meet senior sustainability executives from large corporations, universities and government institutions” while Michael Hyman, Vice President of first time Partner NUS Consulting added “…enjoyed the show and benefited…the format and environment were very positive. This was our first FMA Summits and [we felt] the event exceeded our expectations.”

Our November Summit will be our 20th in the series and will feature an adjoining event focused specifically on Manufacturing Sustainability –  including focus on Lean Manufacturing and  Continuous Improvement. Both events will be  held on the 17th – 19th of November at the Westin  Atlanta Buckhead in Atlanta, GA.

With prestigious speaker panels for both Summits  from companies such as 3M, Lear Corporation,  Raytheon and more…our November Summits will  be the Sustainability events of 2014!
