  • Rex Hamre , Sustainability Director

    Rex is a Sustainability Director of the Southeast Region with JLL’s Project and Development Services Group. He is focused on leveraging the bottom-line benefits of sustainability initiatives to achieve positive environmental impact.

  • Karen York, Chief Sustainability Officer

    Liz, appointed as the first CSO for CDC in 2008, establishes sustainability in CDC policy and operations, implements healthy and sustainable work environments, and facilitates staff involvement in sustainability efforts. She has received two White House awards for Sustainability and is an acclaimed Fellow of the American Institute of Architects for her work building healthy environments.

  • Lissa Leege, Director, Center for Sustainability

    Lissa is the founding director of Georgia Southern University’s Center for Sustainability (CfS) and oversees the academic aspects of sustainability on the Georgia Southern campus. Her research concerns threats to rare plants, including the effects of fire and invasive species on endangered plant populations.

  • Russ Delozie, Director of Sustainability

    Russ brings over 25 years of experience to the commercial flooring industry. He oversees all aspects of J+J’s corporate sustainability. Most recently, Russ helped lead J+J to become the first in the industry to achieve 3rd party certification for Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL).

  • Juan Carlos Marin, Global Director of Energy Solutions Team

    Juan has been working with K-C since 1995 with broad leadership experience in plant maintenance, engineering, capital projects management, and energy and risk control for the K-C Latin American Operations. He has been instrumental in designing and delivering strategies in energy management to achieve significant cost and GHG reductions through energy conservation and efficiency improvement across the enterprise.

  • Stephanie Benfield, Sustainable Director

    Stephanie, a long time environmental advocate and a former state representative from DeKalb County, most recently had been serving as the executive director of Green Law, an environmentally-oriented law firm.  She is now the new Director of the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, where she will continue to manage, implement and further develop Mayor Reed’s sustainability plan, as well as support existing projects related to sustainability for the City of Atlanta.

  • Nicole Smith, Customer Sustainability Director

    Nicole joined Coca-Cola Refreshments in 2012, managing data for manufacturing facilities and leading energy and water efficiency training and initiatives as well as the recycling program for three years. In 2015, she transitioned to Coca-Cola North America, and partners with customer teams to collaborate on sustainability initiatives.

  • Jason Brasfield, Director Environmental Program

    Jason has accumulated over 25 years of experience in environmental compliance and management through his various roles. His focus in recent years has been teaching the practical application of environmental management tools to a variety of industry groups.

  • Charles Marshall, Director Asset Management

    Charles has more than 20 years of utilities and facilities management experience. He is the Director of Asset Management, leads the Asset Management function within the Asset Management and Sustainability Division of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) the world’s most traveled airport with more than 100 million passengers annually and the most efficient airport.
