    John is responsible for the Maintenance Department, Biomed, Security, Landscaping, Environmental Services and construction projects.  He believes that facilities managers can find creative yet simple ways to integrate technology solutions into their operations.  One idea is to include the ARC Facilities platform into the budget for a future renovation or building budget.

    Rex is a Sustainability Director of the Southeast Region with JLL’s Project and Development Services Group. He is focused on leveraging the bottom-line benefits of sustainability initiatives to achieve positive environmental impact.

  • Shreya Patel, Sustainable Operations Director

    Shreya manages environmental and sustainability metrics for 20 manufacturing sites, 10 distribution centers, 3 headquarter buildings and 3 sales offices across NA. She analyzes Co2, Waste, Water, Energy & COD metrics across categories and actively seek opportunities to reduce environmental footprint through process management and capital improvement projects.

  • Maria Koetter, Director of Sustainability

    Maria is the Director of Sustainability for Louisville Metro and is responsible for city-wide strategic sustainability planning, policy development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.  Ms. Koetter wrote Louisville’s first sustainability plan “Sustain Louisville” which was released in March 2013. Ms. Koetter has extensive experience with corporate social responsibility programs and organizational sustainability planning. Ms. Koetter formerly founded Bgreen2 LLC, which provided corporate sustainability consulting services.

  • Aurora Winslade, Director of Sustainability

    Winslade brings more than a decade of experience in higher education and energy efficiency efforts in the private sector, where she helped to translate visionary ideas into on-the-ground reality. She is currently the transformational program manager for Hawaii Energy, a state program administered by Leidos Engineering, at which she designs and manages programs to shift the market for energy efficiency in Hawaii through education, research, and strategic partnerships.

  • Breitner Marczewski, Director of Energy Engineering

    Breitner’s presentation will showcase the tools in the Energy Management System at General Motors that helps implementing real energy savings projects. Based on three basic elements: leadership support, allocation of targets and action plans, any company can prepare an energy management system that drives positive economical results and consequently mitigate climate change.

  • Kevin Kanoff, Campus Energy Director

    Kevin has extensive experience and knowledge in, evaluating existing systems and retrofitting energy conservation measures to functioning building and process systems. His experiences, includes; data collection, energy data analysis, energy conservation measure project development, energy conservation measure construction management, measurement and verification of energy conservation measures, development of annual Energy Reports for Senior Management, and developing energy master plans. In addition, he is on the budget development team and energy procurement team for the facility.

  • John Schoettler, Vice President Global Real Estate and Facilities

    John’s disciplines within his areas of responsibility include office leasing, asset management and construction management. Design and construction projects include both urban infill and interior improvements of office complexes throughout a global portfolio of over 10MM square feet spanning 150+ locations in 29 countries. In 2006, his team worked with Vulcan Real Estate to develop a 1.7MM square foot urban campus in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.

  • Wendy Gettleman, Vice President of Facilities Management & Real Estate

    Wendy’s position includes oversight of Facilities Maintenance and Operations; Planning, Design and Construction; Real Estate & Energy Management; Facilities Business Services, including General Services and Food Services. In this role, Wendy will drive the Facilities agenda including major capital construction and renovations, pursue continuity of plant operations for all DFCI sites and guide master facility space planning efforts.

  • Julie Newman, Director of Sustainability

    Julie is an experienced Director Of Sustainability with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. She is a strong community and social services professional skilled in Research, Fundraising, Sustainability, Climate Change, and Grant Writing.

  • Jimmy Gresham, Facilities Director - Operations

    Jimmy is a Higher Education Facilities professional with broad experience including complex technical leadership, in planning, managing, coordinating, supervising and overseeing facilities areas of operations, maintenance, grounds and contract services. His specialties include facilities management, energy management, staffing and staff management, budgeting, master planning, construction management, contract management, safety, scheduling, drafting, surveying and HAZMAT.

  • Kurtis Jetsel, Director - Facilities & ESH

    Kurtis’s 30 plus year career with Lockheed Martin started as an anti-satelite missile technician moving into manufacturing engineering then into test operations and then into operations. Including Progam Sr. management with emphasis on International Program management. A recent role was oversight of the Systems Engineering Test organization at WSMR and Redstone Arsenal. Currently serving as Director of Facilities and ESH for MFC Business Area

  • Dr. Charles Marshall, Director Asset Management & Sustainability

    Charles has more than 20 years of utilities and facilities management experience. He is the Director of Asset Management, leads the Asset Management function within the Asset Management and Sustainability Division of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) the world’s most traveled airport with more than 100 million passengers annually and the most efficient airport.
