I have participated in an FMA Energy Summit and found it to be one of the most impactful B2B events ever. While they have an exclusive attendee list of buyers, CFOs and CEO’s of large energy using organizations, they also set up a unique interaction platform where every exhibitor (usually limited about 20) gets to be a speaker.

Joe Brady and I went to an FMA Summit last year that was a very targeted conference that did an excellent job pairing corporate users with qualified service providers in an educational setting that was intimate enough for us to present our capability and approach those looking for the service. Joe has a unique offering where he could customize a conference and bring us face to face with clients we want to have. Thank you, Chris Chris Pesek Managing Director, Integrated Facility Management

Very good! We found the pre-arranged meetings and corporate introductions very valuable. The Westin venue was perfect! As a brand new attendee we invested in the FMA Summit as a vendor in order to build significant contacts with world class companies. We were pleased with the caliber of “buyers” and the serious commitment both vendors and attendees brought to this conference.

Very effective at building relationships with the high level decision makers at major customers. Also great opportunity to learn about emerging technologies that effect the overall marketplace. The FMA Summit is a great opportunity to meet one-on-one with many key customers in a neutral atmosphere that is very conducive to building relationships.

Enjoyed talking and interacting with folks that have the same interests and job responsibilities. Vendors were relevant and presented me with some new ideas and strategies. This was my first time attending and found it to be worth m time investment.

ATL 2014 Summit was our first one to attend and exhibit, and thus far I must admit that this is one of the classiest events I’ve attended. Facilities and amenities were excellent, top-notch event staff, great facilities staff, extremely professional moderation of presentations, setting up of mtgs at lunches, etc. I also liked the show size and caliber of attendees – that you can literally talk with at least half the attendees and all of the speakers, many of whom all have significant roles in their organizations around energy and sustainability. Robust conversations can easily be had with several of these folks as well – either at the booths or around a lunch table. Also that the exhibit floor is where all the networking happens is key to generating those conversations. And that “culture” really spread to everyone – attendees were quite open to having conversations with exhibitors because they seemed to understand that exhibitors were a valuable resource for them, and they genuinely wanted to learn. Based on others’ comments and my own perspective, would like to have seen a few less presentations where speakers only presented their own products, but I realize the organizers don’t have total control over that. Overall, it appears to be a solid investment and of course time will tell. However, we’re optimistic about the eventual results.

As promised, once again, FMA provides a platform for timely and important discussions around topics of energy and sustainability. A combination of real-world, first-hand experiences and important dialogue among industry thought-leaders from the manufacturing and logistics businesses and service providers sharing their broader experiences, including challenges, successes and best practices in the production and distribution environments. The venue was excellent with FMA staff going the extra mile to foster relationships through introductions between attendees and exhibitors. If you’re looking for quality versus quantity – and who isn’t? – then you’ll want to explore the FMA Summits. An excellent conference with a concise program and manageable time commitment.
