Future of Manufacturing Summit 2007 – Montreal

August 5 to 7, 2007 Hyatt Regency – Montreal, Canada

The inaugural Future of Manufacturing Summit was FMA’s first invitation-only executive event, bringing together leaders from manufacturing, energy, aerospace, government and supply-chain logistics to share practical strategies on technology, sustainability and operational excellence.

First FMA Summit Manufacturing & Supply Chain Energy Efficiency Sustainability Advanced Materials

About this event

The 2007 Future of Manufacturing Summit created a private environment where senior decision makers could compare notes on emerging technologies, energy reduction, environmental performance and workforce challenges. The format mixed concise case-study presentations with panels and structured networking, giving sponsors and delegates direct access to peers facing the same issues in complex, global operations.

This first summit set the blueprint for every FMA event that followed: small curated groups, practical content and guaranteed time for one-to-one conversations that lead to measurable outcomes.

Key themes covered

Industrial energy efficiency
U.S. Department of Energy, Natural Resources Canada, Bes-Tech, Magnaray

National programmes and technologies to cut energy use in heavy industry, including plant assessments, HVAC optimization and high-efficiency lighting.
